Submitting an order to See2it Design & Printing Inc. on-line, electronically, or by telephone and your subsequent order approval on-line, electronically, or signature on our order confirmation form is a conditional acceptance by See2it Design & Printing Inc. of your consent to purchase design, printing and/or fulfillment services from us, and confirms your acceptance of all our Terms and Conditions of sale as set forth below, and creates a legally binding contract with See2it Design & Printing Inc. for design, printing and/or fulfillment services, and you will be responsible for payment in full as outlined in this agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, do not use any portion of this site.
See2it Design & Printing Inc. reserves the right to change, modify or amend these Terms and Conditions without any notice.
The Customer is fully responsible for proof and layout approval prior to the printing process. See2it Design & Printing Inc. is NOT LIABLE for errors in a final product caused by any of the following reasons: Misspelling, Graphics, Bleeds, Grammar, Damaged Fonts, Punctuation, Wrong cuts, Incorrect or Missing Folds, Finished Product Size.
All information, data, text, photographs, graphics, messages or other materials supplied by the customer ("Content") are the sole responsibility of the customer.
Recognizing the global nature of the Internet, you agree to comply with all local rules regarding online conduct and acceptable Content, you agree to not use the Service to send, upload, post or otherwise transmit any Content that contains (i) child pornography or anything indecent, obscene, lewd, lascivious, filthy or vile; (ii) a threat to kidnap or injure a person, a threat to injure the personal property or reputation of another person, a threat to accuse any person of a crime, a threat to inform another that a person has violated any law of Canada or the United States, or a threat of blackmail; (iii) any matter advocating or urging treason, insurrection, or forcible resistance to any law of Canada or the United States; (iv) any defamatory remarks directed at any other person or company; or (v) any content that infringes the intellectual property rights or other proprietary rights of See2it Design & Printing Inc. or any third party. See2it Design & Printing Inc. does not control the Content posted by Customers and does not guarantee the accuracy, integrity or quality of the Content. Under no circumstances will See2it Design & Printing Inc. be liable to you in any way for any Content you may be exposed to that you may find offensive, indecent or objectionable. Products and services, are provided for your personal use only. You agree to abide by these terms of service and not to use these products and services or related messages for any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, promotional materials, "junk mail," "spam," "chain letters," "pyramid schemes," or any other form of solicitation. You agree that you will be responsible for all orders placed or other actions that are taken through your account.
You acknowledge that See2it Design & Printing Inc. does not pre-screen Content, but that See2it Design & Printing Inc. and its affiliates shall have the right (but not the obligation) in their sole discretion to remove any Content that violates the terms of service or may otherwise be objectionable. You further acknowledge and agree that See2it Design & Printing Inc. may preserve Content and may also disclose Content if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such preservation or disclosure is reasonably necessary to: (a) comply with legal process; (b) enforce the terms of service; (c) respond to claims that the Content violates the rights of third-parties; or (d) protect the rights, property, or personal safety of See2it Design & Printing Inc., its users and the public.
Any company or individual ordering design, printing and/or fulfillment services from See2it Design & Printing Inc., warrants and represents that it is the legal owner or licensee of all rights, including copyright, to each trademark, logo, statement, artwork, photo or any other intellectual property included in the Content you instruct us to use for design purposes or have imprinted on the merchandise you purchase. Furthermore you warrant that the artwork and designs you approve for reproduction are in accordance with the guidelines of the owner of said trademark or logo. See2it Design & Printing Inc. policy also states that you cannot use explicit language or pornography on printed materials and merchandise.
You warrant and represent that no part of the supplied files, artwork and design violates or infringes upon the rights of any person or entity nor is it subject to any restriction or right of any kind or nature whatsoever which would prevent See2it Design & Printing Inc. from legally reproducing the images or text.
You agree to defend, at your sole expense, any claim, suit, or proceeding brought against See2it Design & Printing Inc. for reproduction of the trademarks, logos, artwork, photos, written information and other materials you supply to us which constitutes wrongful use of any copyright, trademark, or other right of any third party. See2it Design & Printing Inc. shall not be held liable for the unauthorized, improper, or illegal use of any logo or trademark that is applied to products and services purchased from us. Further, See2it Design & Printing Inc. will not accept liability for the actions of clients who have misrepresented their ownership of licenses or trademarks. Further, you agree to indemnify and save See2it Design & Printing Inc. harmless from any and all loss, cost, expense and damages associated with any such claim, suit or proceeding.
All artwork, designs and products shown on our web site containing corporate logos or registered trademarks are shown only to illustrate art and printing capabilities. They do not imply an endorsement by holders of such trademarks or designs. They are not meant to be advertisements, nor are these items for sale to anyone other than parties expressly authorized by the owner of such trademarks and logo designs.
See2it Design & Printing Inc. is based in Ontario. Any legal action or proceeding relating to or arising from your access to or use of this Site shall be instituted in Ontario. You agree to submit to the jurisdiction of Ontario courts and agree that venue in these courts is proper in any such legal action or proceeding.
In no event shall See2it Design & Printing Inc. or its licensors, suppliers, or vendors, their officers, directors, employees, or agents, be liable for any special, incidental, indirect, or consequential damages of any kind, or for any damages whatsoever resulting from loss of use, data or profits, whether or not See2it Design & Printing Inc. has been advised of possibility of the damage, arising out of or in connection with the use or performance of the site or of failure to provide services that you order from See2it Design & Printing Inc. or its affiliates, including without limitation, damages arising from mistake, omission, virus, delay, or interruption of service. In no event shall See2it Design & Printing Inc. be liable or responsible for any damages or consequences arising from or related to your inappropriate or unauthorized use of the site or its content.
You agree that you shall indemnify and defend See2it Design & Printing Inc. and all parties from whom See2it Design & Printing Inc. has licensed portions of Content, and their directors, officers, and employees, against all claims, liability, damages, costs and expenses, including reasonable legal fees and expenses arising out of or related to (i) your breach of these Terms and Conditions or (ii) any suit, claim, or demand arising from or relating to any text, photograph, image, graphic or other material you incorporated into Products or Services.
All artwork or designs and images must be provided in CMYK format. See2it Design & Printing Inc. is not responsible for any colour shift that occurs in conversions from RGB to CMYK colour modes. All artwork, designs and images must be provided in minimum of 300 DPI and CMYK colour mode. See2it Design & Printing Inc. is not responsible for images printed as fuzzy, distorted or pixilated due to customer provided artwork. Additional fees may apply for the files larger than 30MB.
Files are checked on a first come first served basis. If a PDF proof is requested it can take up to 24 hours before your files are checked due to the large volume of orders we receive. If your files are set up correctly you will receive a proof by email or an email with a link to your on-line proofs. PDF proofs are meant to check for layout only and not meant to check colours. We also suggest that if your job is colour critical, you purchase a press match proof. This proof normally costs $90.00 CAD. Please keep in mind that while we will try our best to match proofs, We DO NOT GUARANTEE COLOR MATCHING.
PDF proofs will NOT be sent out for the following formats: PSD, TIF, JPG, BMP, GIF, PCX, PNG, PDF. These formats are flattened where images and fonts will not change. Customers will not be notified and production will start on these orders immediately.
Please note that your monitor's calibration affects what you see on your screen. The colours on the printed product may differ from what you see on your screen. Customer supplied proofs are not acceptable as they are not calibrated to our presses. Jobs without proofs will be printed following generally recognized industry standards. To ensure proper colour matching the Customer must purchase a press match proof. This proof normally costs $90.00 CAD. Please keep in mind that while we will try our best to match proofs, See2it Design & Printing Inc. is not liable for the final appearance of a colour. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE COLOR MATCHING.
Because of differences in equipment, processing, proofing substrates, paper, inks, pigments, and other conditions between colour proofing and production pressroom operations, a reasonable variation in colour between colour proofs and the completed job shall constitute acceptable delivery. See2it Design & Printing Inc. is not liable for colour matching or ink density on press match proofs approved by the customers. Press match proofs will predict design layout, text accuracy, image proportion and placement, but not colour or density. Application of UV or any other coating may effect or change the appearance of the printed colours. See2it Design & Printing Inc. is not liable for the final colour appearance of a UV or other coated product(s).
We cannot guarantee that all orders purchased through See2it Design & Printing Inc. will be 100% consistent in colour and material. See2it Design & Printing Inc. will reproduce colour from digital layouts as closely as possible, but cannot exactly match colour and density because of limitations in the printing process, as well as neighboring image ink requirements. The accuracy of each colour reproduction is guaranteed to be within 85-90% to the press match proof we offer. We accept no responsibility for colour variations between submitted images and the actual artwork or product they represent. Any jobs that require emboss, foil stamping, Spot UV, Lamination or die cutting can vary up to a 1/8". ALL files must have an 1/8" bleed all around. A $25 fee may be charged to create a bleed if it has not been incorporated in your files. This fee is solely at our discretion.
Critical type or images must be at least 1/4" from the edge of the card. See2it Design & Printing Inc. is not responsible for type, art or images that are cut off if these guidelines are not followed. Furthermore, it is strongly suggested that you do not use a thin border around your postcard. This may cause an uneven frame around your card. If you want to have a border, it should be at least 1/4" thick.
Minor variations in colour consistency, material thickness, and finish are inherent to the manufacturing process. By placing your order with See2it Design & Printing Inc. you agree to accept merchandise with such reasonable manufacturing variations.
Please note that there can be variances in the thickness of stock by up to 1pt.
Please note that for letterhead, envelopes and other orders using uncoated paper stock, we recommend you not use colours with high colour density. By this we mean dark colours (black, purple, blue, brown, etc). Dark colours tend to get soaked into the paper if their colour values are too high. For best results, use light colours.
Once an order has been received and has entered the production cycle, refunds are not allowed. No partial refunds will be given for work not completed. Customers requiring modifications to their order after viewing PDF proofs will be charged a $25 fee. We urge clients to proof read all materials prior to submitting artwork and not to use our PDF proof service as a way of checking final content. Customers wishing to cancel orders once PDF proofs have been generated will incur a mandatory $75 fee. This fee is not negotiable and will be charged in full.
Orders that have been charged and are set to Order Received, Waiting for Files or Waiting for Approval can not be refunded but are eligible for cancellation upon request via email until commencement of production, subject to applicable cancellation charges. A credit voucher is issued with a value equal to the cancelled job(s). The voucher will expire six months after initial activation. If a job is cancelled, charges for any labour hours (proof, graphic design, etc.) or administrative fees (credit cards fees, etc.) will be subtracted from your voucher. The minimum cancellation charge is $50 plus any credit card charges. Once the order has been placed successfully, NO REFUNDS are issued for logo creation, graphic design, and web design services. Please note that for any late orders we provide a discount of 15% off up to a maximum of $25.00 credit to be used on a future order.
Since each order is unique to the Customer and has no re-sale value, ALL SALES ARE FINAL. If we verify that we made an error, we will re-print the order. No Refunds or Credit will be issued. Our liability should be limited to the reprinting of any defective order and in no case will include special or consequential charges, including expenses, rush shipping, profits lost due to damages. The Customer must notify See2it Design & Printing Inc. within 5 business days of order acceptance of any defects discovered in the ordered product, failing which the Customer is deemed satisfied with the product. Where replacement is appropriate, the Customer must first return 100% of the received product within 15 days (at their own expense) from the time when the ordered product delivery was taken. All charges related to expedite printing (Rush Printing or Shipping) are NOT REFUNDABLE, including for those orders that are returned for any reason.
Our posted turnaround times begin ONLY after an order has been "received". Orders are considered "received" and are put into production ONLY when the following conditions have been met:
Please note that our cutoff if 11pm EST. Production will begin the following day for orders received after this time. Although we rarely miss production schedules, the printing and pre-press process involves equipment which is subject to malfunctions and/or equipment failure. We will always do everything in our power to make sure that any production problems do not delay your job. However, please note that ALL production and delivery times ARE NOT CONTRACTUAL and no turnaround time can be guaranteed. No verbal or written correspondence can change that. Please try to plan date sensitive materials timely.
Please note that all turnaround times are estimates. While See2it Design & Printing Inc. will use reasonable efforts to prevent delay of delivery schedules, in no case shall See2it Design & Printing Inc. be liable for any incidental or consequential damages resulting from any delay in shipment or delivery, damaged packages or loss of packages caused during shipping. Orders are F.O.B. and the Customer shall have recourse only to the selected courier for any shipping issues. Each carrier has limited damage liabilities (normally at a maximum claim of $100 per shipment). See2it Design & Printing Inc. shall not be liable for delays in shipments caused by weather conditions, shipping company delays, international customs issues or any other circumstances. Unexpected equipment failure, malfunction and or technical problems may delay the printing process. In case of delay caused by technical difficulty, rush charges/fees will be refunded or waived where applicable. However, technical difficulty will not be the grounds for order cancellation. High quantity orders and large and/or heavy products may not be eliglible for free shipping. Shipping rates for high quantity orders, large and/or heavy products depend on the customers access to a shipping dock and forklift, otherwise additional charges may apply.
When a shipment is returned to See2it Design & Printing Inc. due to an error made by the Customer in submitting the proper shipping address, See2it Design & Printing Inc. will reship the package(s) with the corrected address and charge an additional shipping fee for the shipment.
We accept cash, money orders, certified/bank checks, Visa, Mastercard, Amex, and Paypal. Payment shall be whatever was set forth in the quotation or invoice unless otherwise provided in writing. The person placing the order will be personally responsible for any outstanding debt owing. An additional $25.00 fee will be charged for return cheques to original amount. As security for payment for any sum due or to become due under terms of any Agreement, See2it Design & Printing Inc. shall have the right, if necessary, to retain possession of and shall have a lien on all customer property in printer's possession including work in process and finished work. The extension of credit or the acceptance of notes, trade acceptance or guarantee of payment shall not affect such security interest and lien.
Please note the following tax rates by province. The rate will be charged based on the location the product will be shipped to. For example: If you are located in Ontario and have indicated the products will be sent to BC, a 12% tax rate will be charged.
USA orders are tax exempt. Materials printed in Canada ship duty free to the USA under the NAFTA agreement.
Orders exceeding $200 may require an authorization form and copy of credit card and Driver's License. See2it Design & Printing Inc. reserves the right to refuse service without disclosing a reason.
In the unlikely event that an error has occurred during the production of a particular job, we must be promptly notified of the problem. Claims for defects, damages, shortages must be made by the customer in writing within a period of 5 (five) business days after delivery of all or any part of the order. Failure to make such claim within the stated period shall constitute irrevocable acceptance and an admission the customer is in full compliance with the terms, conditions and specifications outlined herein.
In the event of an error in printing, a determination will be made whether the defect is of such nature as to qualify for a re-print. Our liability should be limited to reprinting of any defective order and in no case will include special or consequential charges, including expenses, rush shipping, profits lost due to damages. This guarantee applies only to defects in workmanship or materials. It does not cover defects in the files submitted for printing. Over runs and under runs are not to exceed 10% of the quantity ordered and shall constitute an acceptable delivery.
See2it Design & Printing Inc. makes no other warranty or representation of any kind with respect to its products and/or services, either express or implied, including without limitation, that of merchantability or fitness for a particular use. Failure to make any claim in writing, or within the 5 (five) day period set forth above, shall constitute an irrevocable acceptance of the products and/or services and an admission by the company, or individual that the products fully comply with all terms, conditions and specifications of company, or individual purchase order or order confirmation. See2it Design & Printing Inc. shall not be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, under any circumstances, including, but not limited to, damage or loss resulting from inability to use the products, increased operating costs or loss of sales, or any other damages.
Unless otherwise specified (in writing at the time the order was placed), See2it Design & Printing Inc. or our affiliate sites reserve the right to photograph, reproduce images digitally, show as samples, and use any item produced by us for electronic, print or display promotion without liability as to trademark, copyright or other proprietary rights.
Working mechanical art, type, negatives, positives, digital files, flats, plates and other items when supplied by the printer, shall remain his exclusive property unless otherwise agreed in writing. You certify that you own the rights to use the image(s) being reproduced on your postcard. DO NOT send any "one-of-kind" transparencies, prints or artwork. Although we take every precaution to safeguard your materials, we are NOT responsible for loss or damage of images or artwork.
The printer will maintain fire, extended coverage, vandalism, malicious mischief and sprinkler leakage insurance on all property belonging to the customer while such property is in the printer's possession: printer's liability for such property shall not exceed the amount recoverable from such insurance. Customer's property of extraordinary value shall be insured through mutual agreement.
